While many sacred armaments are hidden behind late-game boss fights, several outstanding options can be acquired without facing overwhelming odds. Knowing where to locate these armaments early allows players to establish a strong combat setup before venturing into challenging legacy dungeons.
Winged Scythe
The Winged Scythe stands out as one of the best early Faith weapons due to its impressive reach and built-in holy damage scaling. It scales with Strength, Dexterity, and Faith, making it an ideal main weapon for hybrid holy casters. Additionally, its unique skill prevents enemy Invaders from healing, which offers a distinct tactical advantage in human or NPC encounters.
To claim this deadly reaper, travel to the Weeping Peninsula located south of Limgrave. Head towards the Tombsward Ruins and locate the underground staircase guarded by hostile enemies. Descend into the chest room to secure the scythe early without needing to fight a major boss.
Cipher Pata
For players committing entirely to a pure Faith build, the Cipher Pata offers pure holy damage that scales exclusively with the Faith attribute. Because it weighs nothing, it can be equipped without increasing your overall equipment load. Its weapon skill lunges forward with an unblockable blade of light, piercing right through enemy shields.
Acquiring the Cipher Pata requires access to the Roundtable Hold, which unlocks shortly after exploring Limgrave and resting at sites of grace. Jump down from the central balcony into the lower hall to face an invading NPC phantom. Fast movement allows players to run past the phantom, grab the weapon from the bedroom bed, and equip it immediately.
Tree Spear
The Tree Spear is a great weapon for defensive playstyles, offering high physical and holy damage combined with a long thrusting reach. Unlike many unique Faith weapons, the Tree Spear can be enchanted with additional incantations like Electrify Armament or Order's Blade. Obtaining this halberd requires defeating the Tree Sentinel patrolling the starting field right outside the Stranded Graveyard.
